Since we were born we have been told that Life was a series of events that would take us somewhere better and greater that “Now” and “Here”. Therefore, we studied, we practiced, we came, we went, always moving. And we did it one step at a time. We were sometimes happy and sometimes not. Nobody mentioned wings.
One day we find out that the Universe gave us wings to fly. What? We never looked at our backs for them. We just continued moving with our feet, always going, never stopping. Before that day, we were able to only trust the support that allowed us to walk, such as road or a tree. We were convinced that there was no need to fly. We knew that this is what we had to do (because someone we trusted told us), and we just did it.
When there was no other place to go, and we became tired of walking, something made us examined our back and we finally see our wings. At that point we are both surprised and distraught, because, how could they have not told us that we have wings? Certainly it would have been easier to get here with a pair of wings. And with a sense of urgency: How can we learn to use them at this point of our lives? Is it too late?
Surprisingly, from the first second, we discover that the wings are functional and easy to use, so we use them. There are no complicated instructions and there is no need for trials and errors. Moreover, they always respond to the command of our Will.
The magic of all is that when we use them, our “Now” and “Here” become the Time and Space we really want to be in. And we are amazed to discover that there is no need to walk.
